The Apex Gym was ideated and founded by Boyd Allen in 2018. Joined by his friend and training partner Craig Toontas. The two set out to change the face of martial arts gyms in South Africa. They had one dream in mind, to build a place that was about their community first. A place where women and children would feel revered and protected. Newcomers would feel welcomed with open arms and the helpless could find help.
